Slipway and workshop
Slipway
To ensure the maintenance of its own fleet and to offer services to vessels from other companies, SEAWORKS has slipway and workshop facilities in Harstad, centrally located within Northern Norway. The slipway takes boats up to 900 tonnes, 60-70 metres in length. All types of repairs and maintenance are carried out here, including fresh water flushing, hull painting, welding and steel work.
SEAWORKS ensures quality by classifying the boats. In conjunction with the slipway and the workshop area, SEAWORKS is developing its own marina designed for the leisure boat market.
Workshop and maintenance
The workshop has a high level of competence in welding and can hire out highly skilled welders for specific periods. On specification, the workshop offers design and manufacture of products for the shipping industry and for the construction and contracting industries. The workshop also carries out repairs on construction machinery.
The workshop designs and manufactures conveyor belts for the contracting industry, floating docks and gangways for the maritime market.
